What Self is
Self is the episodic memory substrate on which every agent you interact with operates — capturing intention, decisions, patterns, and criteria across all your roles simultaneously.
Self operates at hypervisor level — beneath every agent, beneath every OS integration, beneath every model. It does not compete with agents. It governs what they know.
Agents read from Self. They never write to it without a staged commit, a validation pass, and explicit permission. The user is always in control of what the agent knows.
